I've probably read a lot of the same books as the rest of you guys. I feel like I have a basic grasp of hold em. Here's my question; I get the feeling that most of what I'm reading for advice is centered around larger games (maybe 8-10 players). I play in a weekly game with 4 guys. So we have 5-6 players tops. Like I expect happens in a lot of small games, no-one ever seems to bet preflop. (I do with a premium hands, I mean that's poker 101) I'm trying to figure out if it's a good strategy to call the blinds with lesser hands then I would play against more people. Maybe call with any suited cards over 7, or any 2 high connectors.
I'm think I may know the answer, the answer is probably, Don't change shit, play the top 15 hands, A-X suited bet then agressively, watch how the betting comes down, decide from there and fold the rest even at the low cost of the blind.
I'm at an in between place and it's fucking me up. I guess I'm looking for confirmation that tight's right even with fewer players.

thanks

You should go in on more due to lesser players, but don't over do it. The way I play at the beginning of a game with many players would be TIGHT, knowing alot of cards are out but when it comes down to 3-4 players, a lesser had can be deadly. Ever see what Hanson goes in on with 3-4 players left, I seen him win it all with low cards unsuited!!! Not that I'd have the gull to do that but it just shows, if the Pros do it......
